Terms of Use
Last updated: September 19, 2026. These Terms of Use govern your access to this website and your use of its referral and lead-generation services. The business responsible for operating this website is the "Operator," "we," "us," or "our." By using the website or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
1. What this website does
The website provides general service information and lets consumers submit project details so they may be connected with one or more independent service professionals. The Operator is a referral and lead-generation service. Unless the website expressly states otherwise, the Operator does not perform, supervise, direct, warrant, or guarantee the professional services requested through the website.
The Operator is not a contractor, employer, joint venturer, partner, or agent of any service professional. Service professionals are independent businesses responsible for their own personnel, licenses, insurance, permits, estimates, contracts, work, taxes, safety practices, and legal compliance.
2. Eligibility and acceptable use
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to submit a request. If you submit information for another person or property, you represent that you have authority to do so. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to use the website only for lawful, genuine service inquiries.
You may not misuse the website, submit false or fraudulent requests, impersonate another person, interfere with security or operation, introduce malicious code, scrape or harvest data without permission, or use website content or forms for spam, solicitation, or unlawful activity.
3. Service requests and information sharing
When you submit a project request, you authorize the Operator to process the information you provide and sell or otherwise disclose it to one or more independent service professionals, contractors, third-party referral or lead-distribution partners, or vendors that help route or fulfill the request. A referral or lead-distribution partner may in turn provide the request to one or more participating independent professionals. Those recipients may contact you about the project using the contact methods you provide, subject to your communication choices and applicable law.
Submitting a request is not a purchase and does not obligate you to hire anyone. It does not guarantee that a professional will respond, accept the project, serve your location, offer a particular price, or be available on a particular schedule. The Operator may receive compensation from participating professionals or business partners for selling or distributing referrals, leads, advertising, or related services.
4. Your relationship with service professionals
Any estimate, appointment, service agreement, payment, deposit, cancellation, warranty, dispute, or other transaction is solely between you and the service professional. The professional—not the Operator—sets the scope, price, schedule, terms, and manner of performing the work. You should obtain and retain a written agreement that identifies the professional, scope, price, timing, warranties, cancellation rights, and other material terms before work begins or money changes hands.
5. Provider verification and project decisions
Unless expressly stated on the website for a specific program, the Operator does not represent that it has screened, licensed, certified, insured, bonded, background-checked, or otherwise endorsed a professional. Credentials and requirements vary by trade and location and can expire or change. You are responsible for evaluating professionals and independently confirming references, identity, licensing, insurance, permits, qualifications, complaints, and suitability for your project.
Never rely on website content as legal, financial, engineering, architectural, safety, or other professional advice. Seek qualified advice where appropriate and do not begin work that requires permits, inspections, or licensed professionals until those requirements are satisfied.
6. Communications
By submitting a request, you consent to communications reasonably necessary to process and respond to that request, including communications from the Operator and independent professionals who receive it. Any optional consent to text messages is presented separately. Text-message consent is not a condition of purchasing services. Message frequency may vary; message and data rates may apply; and you may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Withdrawing a communication preference does not invalidate processing or disclosures that occurred before the withdrawal.
Your carrier, email provider, or device may delay or block communications. The Operator is not responsible for those failures. Do not submit a telephone number or email address unless you are authorized to receive communications at that destination.
7. Website content and third-party services
Website content is provided for general informational purposes. We try to keep it useful and current, but do not promise that it is complete, accurate, or suitable for every project or location. References or links to third-party websites, products, professionals, or services do not constitute an endorsement. Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
8. Intellectual property
The website, including its design, text, graphics, logos, software, and other content, is owned by or licensed to the Operator and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use it for personal, noncommercial purposes connected with a genuine service inquiry. No other right or license is granted. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, sell, or exploit website content without prior written permission.
9. No warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and referral services are provided "as is" and "as available." The Operator disclaims all express and implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, accuracy, availability, and results. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, a successful match, or the conduct, work, pricing, availability, qualifications, or outcome of any professional.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator and its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, vendors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages; loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity; property damage; personal injury; or claims arising from a professional's acts, omissions, estimates, contracts, or work.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of those parties for all claims relating to the website or referral services will not exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or the amount you paid directly to the Operator for use of the website during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Operator and its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, vendors, and agents from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from your unlawful use of the website, false or unauthorized submissions, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.
12. Suspension and changes
We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the website, and may block misuse, at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the last-updated date. Changes apply prospectively when posted unless applicable law requires another form of notice or consent. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact the Operator and make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue informally. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by applicable United States federal law and the laws of the state where the Operator maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Claims must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction serving that location, except where consumer-protection law gives you a nonwaivable right to proceed elsewhere.
14. General terms
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and the Operator concerning the website. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may assign these Terms in connection with a reorganization, financing, sale, or transfer of the website or business.
15. Questions and notices
Submit privacy requests, notices, or complaints using the form on the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. Select or describe the type of request in the additional-information field and provide enough information for the Operator to identify the relevant records or issue.
